Guided Fly-Fishing in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

With a two-kilometer stretch of some of the best Salmon pools the Baddeck River has to offer and on-site trout ponds, Crown Jewel is a fly-fishing paradise in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Our licensed guide takes up to two guests at a time, thus ensuring the right attention to each guest.

Here is what you catch at Crown Jewel and the surrounding rivers and lakes:

Atlantic Salmon: with size reaching 30 pounds, the sea run in the Baddeck River happens during the month of October. The Margaree River and the North River have Salmon runs from June till October.

Rainbow Trout: with size reaching 8 pounds, the sea run in the Baddeck River happens during the month of October. The Bras d'Or Lakes are open for Rainbow Trout fishing year-round.

Speckled Trout: with size reaching 3-4 pounds, the sea run in the Baddeck River happens from June 1 till mid July . They can also be caught in our ponds from April till end of September.
