Crown Jewel is dedicated to natural beekeeping and is committed to promote organic approaches to modern apiculture in Atlantic Canada. In addition to selling organic honey and wax products, we invite wannabe beekeepers to a short educational retreat at our resort.

Over a period of 2 days we will guide you through the wonders of what will be your most fascinating hobby. Whether you live in the country or in a city, you can always find a place to put a hive or two. The industrious bees will supply you with ample honey for your own use as well as holiday gifts to your friends. We can also assure you that your bees will be the centre of many social gatherings at your place.

Your beekeeping retreat is available on May 28-30, 2010. By the end of your training you will be comfortable enough to take a hive (or two) with you back home. A one year free mentoring by phone and the book "Natural Beekeeping" by Ross Conrad are included in this package.
