In the Fall the Baddeck has a strong run of Atlantic Salmon that range from five pounds to well over 20! One Fall morning in 2005 proved this to me. An early morning rain freshened the river and woke-up the salmon. I took three passes through a great salmon pool that is only minutes from the doorstep of Crown Jewel. Three passes. Three fish! Later that day I hooked a three pound rainbow trout! It made its way back to Crown Jewel with me. George (the head chef) prepared the fish for breakfast the next morning. Amazing!”
